Description

The MTA Rides to Wellness Campus (R2W) houses vehicles used for the Ride to Wellness program. MTA is soliciting proposals to remove and replace the roof on Building #2 located within the R2W Campus located at 1717 S. Dort Highway. The MTA will receive sealed Proposals either electronically through Bidnet Direct or at the MTA Administration facility located at 1401 S. Dort Highway on or before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023.

Proposers will be able print out the proposal documents, supporting documentation and outline specifications on Bidnet Direct. The Proposer shall be responsible for the cost of reproductions. Bidnet Direct will be used to issue any addenda or information relative to the RFP requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR PRICING
The price shall include all requested deliverables as indicated in Contract Documents RFP 2022-14 (and addendums) and any additional services that are included as part of the overall proposed solution. The Cost Sheet and Unit Pricings shall be completed in entirety and submitted in a separate file labeled “RFP #2022-14 Roof Replacement”. The Proposer shall also submit a Schedule of Values with the Cost Sheet. The Proposer must submit the Cost Sheet. Proposer shall also submit a Schedule, identifying key milestones and deliverables and preferred payment schedule.

MTA will only disperse funds for reimbursable expenses. MTA will not make any payments to the Contractor without evidence of completed deliverables. Project payments will be limited to no more than five payments for the installation, and construction phase of the project.
MTA is expecting competitive cost proposals and will evaluate and weight scores based in part on competitive pricing. The budget for removal and installation of the roof should be inclusive of all costs associated with utility upgrades, equipment and warranties, general contracting to complete all civil work and site preparation, installation of equipment, and commissioning.
