The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) is soliciting bids from qualified Automotive dealers to provide up to six new vehicles. The intended vehicles specified to be purchased would be up to two (2) Ford Explorer (or approved equal) and up to four (4) Ford Taurus (or approved equal). Vehicles shall be all new and current model year. Bids shall be submitted on or before 3:00 p.m. Local Time, Monday, February 25, 2019 at the MTA Administration Building located at 1401 S. Specifications are available to attain from the Purchasing Agent on or after Monday, February 11, 2019.
Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at MTA’s Administration Building at the same address above at 3:15 p.m. Local Time Monday, February 25, 2019.
MTA reserves the right to waive any informality in the invitation for bid; to reject any or all bids; and to make any award which it considers to be in the best interest of the MTA. The MTA reserves the right to use whatever reasonable and prudent evaluation techniques it deems appropriate.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after submission.
Funding for this project is available through Federal and State Grants.
