The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) is soliciting bids from one or more qualified suppliers to remove and Install remanufactured 6.8L engines and purchase remanned transmissions for MTA’s Ford E-450 fleet. Bids shall be submitted on or before 1:00 p.m. Local Time, Friday, March 1, 2019 at the MTA Administration Building located at 1401 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48503. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at MTA’s Administration Building at the same address above at 1:15pm, Friday, March 1, 2019
MTA reserves the right to waive any informality in the invitation for bid; to reject any or all bids; and to make any award which it considers to be in the best interest of the MTA. The MTA reserves the right to use whatever reasonable and prudent evaluation techniques it deems appropriate.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after submission.
Funding for this project is available through Federal and State Grants.
