Summary of Specifications:
The product scope for this project is the completion of multiple systems including a web application for riders, an Android and IOS mobile application for riders, an Android mobile application for drivers and a backend website for administration and dispatch. All requirements in this specification are to be met for a minimum viable solution that meets the goals of the MTA. Anticipated project size is over 100 vehicles with an initial pilot of 20 vehicles. MTA seeks to implement a web-based, call center management software solution, in order to establish a one-call-one-click center to improve citizens’ abilities to access Rides to Wellness transportation. The agency seeks a web-based software solution, with the specific goals to improve customer service by implementing tools designed to manage data, accept reservations via the phone, mobile application and web, allow for manual, semi-automated and automated scheduling of trips and dispatch trips to partner providers. Also, by implementing a web-based solution that includes a mobile application for drivers and riders, automated scheduling and dispatching software solution, the agency hopes to expand and improve current Rides to Wellness and brokerage operations while maintaining or increasing efficiency and measurable service delivery.
