Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids are being accepted by Mass Transportation Authority (MTA), 1401 S. Dort Hwy, Flint, MI 48503, for the Sale of Retired Transit Vehicles. Sealed bids must be received on or before Thursday March 10, 2016 10:00 A.M. (EST); bids will be opened publicly and read aloud on Thursday March 10, 2016 at 10:15 A.M. (EST) at the same address. Bids must be labeled IFB 2016-02 “Sale of Retired Transit Vehicles”, Due Date, and Bidders’ Name. The retired transit vehicles for sale will be sold “As is, Where is”. Vehicles are not road worthy. Bid packages may be obtained at MTA, 1401 S. Dort Hwy, Flint, MI 48503 from the Purchasing Agent on or after February 22,2016. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the used equipment so they know what they are bidding on. The equipment will be available for inspection on March 3rd and March 4th by appointment only at MTA, 5051 S. Dort Hwy, Flint, MI 48507.
