Request for Proposal: 2023-06 Security Guard Services
The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified security firms to provide Security Guard Services. MTA is looking for Security Guard Services to observe actual bus operations, observe and make recommendations on security related matters, and to intervene in any incident which in their professional judgement requires their assistance to ensure the safety of the MTA operators, passengers, and property.
Proposals shall be submitted on or before 11:00 a.m. Local Time, Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Mass Transportation Authority’s offices at 1401 South Dort Highway, Flint, Michigan or Electronically at Bidnet Direct www.bidnetdirect.com. Specifications may be obtained at https://www.mtaflint.org/purchasing/ or www.bidnetdirect.com on or after Wednesday March 1, 2023.
The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) reserves the right to waive any informality in the request for proposals; to reject any or all proposals; and to make any award which it considers to be in the best interest of the MTA. The MTA reserves the right to use whatever reasonable and prudent evaluation techniques it deems appropriate.
No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after submission.
