The Muskegon County Board of Commissioners invites your Statement of Qualifications for Conflict Attorney Services to Represent Indigent Juveniles and Adults for the Muskegon County on the behalf of the Public Defender’s Office. The Public Defender’s Office handles the majority of the caseload but is ethically bound to refrain from representation when a conflict of interest is identified. It is the intent of the Public Defender’s Office to award six contracts to qualifying attorney’s or firms for a 12-month term starting January 1, 2021 with the option to renew for two (2) subsequent years, one year at a time.
