Optional Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held at the landfill office (9366 Apple Avenue, Ravenna MI) on September 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM local time. The project will be discussed and attendees can familiarize themselves with the site conditions.
Bidders who do not attend the non-mandatory pre-bid conference are still expected to familiarize themselves with the site conditions prior to submitting a bid.
Mandatory Site Visit
Each bidder is required to familiarize themselves with site conditions prior to submitting a bid. The facility will be open to allow bidders the opportunity to familiarize themselves with site conditions. The Solid Waste Supervisor will be available to Bidders at the site on September 8, 2021 and September 9, 2021 between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM to view the existing leachate station. All bidders are required to exit the facility by 3:30 PM.
Bidders shall sign in at the scale window upon entry to the landfill site to document the bidders visit to the site. Bids will only be accepted from Bidders that registered by signing in at the scale window, or those that attended the optional pre-bid conference. Bidder shall provide the following information to the scale attendant:
- Visitor’s Name
- Company Name
- Email Address
- Company Telephone
- Company Fax
- Cell Phone (if applicable)
