The Muskegon County Public Works Board is requesting bids for Wastewater System Improvements at Pump Station J. The Muskegon County Wastewater Department is seeking to procure a qualified contractor for all supervision, labor, materials, equipment actives and related cost necessary for completing the following improvements at Pump Station J:

Constructing and placing into operation a new triplex pumping station, including cast-in-place dry well and wet well, control building, pumps, valves, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls,
Demolition and abandonment of an existing can-type triplex pump station with building
Including all sanitary sewer, force main, site work, restoration, and all related work

The Muskegon County Public Works Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids or to accept the bid that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the County.

A copy of the IFB will be available by Friday, January 8, 2021, online at www.bidnetdirect/mitn/muskegon-county. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm (noon) at Pump Station J, 895 Quarterline Rd, Muskegon MI 49445. Attendance is recommended.

All bids must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. All bids should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Muskegon County Procurement Office and be clearly marked: “IFB 21-2400 Pump Station J Replacement”.
