21-2421 - Water System Improvements Muskegon County Channel Crossing Contract No 2

The Muskegon County Public Works Board is requesting bids for Water System Improvements: Muskegon County Channel Crossing – Contract No. 2 for the Muskegon County Water Department. The Muskegon County Water Department is seeking to procure a qualified contractor for the water main crossing the Muskegon Channel and Muskegon State Park by Horizontal Directional Drilling, Meter Station, HMA paving, pavement marking, and surface restoration. A minimum contractor experience requirements and documentation are listed as part of the bid summary.

Vendors and/or their representatives may submit bids electronically through Bid Net or physically at: Muskegon County Procurement Office, 141 E. Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442.

The Muskegon County Public Works Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids or to accept the bid that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the County.

A copy of the IFB will be available by Wednesday, March 17, 2021, online at www.bidnetdirect/mitn/muskegon-county. A Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM to be held online via WebEx.  Attendance is recommended. See attached WebEx invitation page for registration details.

All bids must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.  All bids should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Muskegon County Procurement Office and be clearly marked: “IFB 21-2421 Channel Crossing Contract No. 2”.
