The Contractor shall submit a hard copy of Sealed Proposals to the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Oakland County, Michigan, One Public Works Drive, Building 95 West, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907 (“Owner”) for the construction of certain facilities and structures, including the following approximate quantities:
- A new approximately 1 million gallon underground sewage retention facility (SRF). The SRF storage will be separated into three storage compartments and will be comprised of approximately 960 feet of 15 feet wide by 10 feet high precast box culverts.
- A new approximately 5 million gallons per day (MGD) Pump Station to fill the new SRF when required
- A new underground Regulator Chamber including bypass, gates, weirs, baffles, and other equipment and appurtenances for diverting flow from the HRSDS into the new Pump Station and for draining the new SRF by gravity back into the HRSDS
- A new Junction Chamber including gates, weirs, and flow channel. This chamber serves as connection between storage compartment numbers 1 and 3.
- A new flushing system for flushing/cleaning a portion of the new SRF and pump station
- A new building to house equipment associated with the new SRF and Pump Station including but not limited to variable frequency drives for the pumps, control panels, a motor control center, circuit breaker panels, supervisor control and data acquisition (SCADA) equipment, and heating, and ventilating equipment
- All associated electrical systems, instrumentation, control, and SCADA systems, security systems, gas, heating, ventilating, water supply systems, paving, storm drainage, and other related systems and appurtenances
- A new paved access drive and parking area for the new SRF and Pump Station including associated drainage structures, culverts, etc.
- A new natural gas-fired generator to provide emergency power for the facility when required
- New pathway, berm, grass pavers, landscaping, lighting, and other outdoor features
