000586 - Interpretation/Translation Services

Summary of Specifications:
Oakland County Purchasing Division is requesting SEALED proposals on behalf of the Oakland County Health Division for Language Interpretation and Translation Services. 

The Oakland County Health Division is interested in maintaining a diverse panel of interpreters/translators to meet the needs of populations served by the Department’s programs and for whom the primary language is not English. Services requested include on-site, telephone, oral and sign interpretation as well as translation of written materials on a 24 hour, 7 day basis. 



The contractor will be expected to accept requests for services by telephone or fax and be able to schedule service within 24 hours – Emergency service within 6 hours. 

The contractor will provide interpreters who have cleared security checks by Michigan State Police or other law enforcement agency. 

The contractor will provide interpreters who have signed confidentiality agreements.
