005115 - RFP for Federal Government Consulting

Oakland County Purchasing is issuing this SEALED Request for Proposal (RFP) to interested and qualified bidders who can provide representation and advocacy at the Federal level on behalf of Oakland County. This may include, but is not limited to, Members of Congress and their staffs, congressional committees, the White House, executive departments, non-governmental organizations, think tanks and private sector parties. Activities may include, but are not limited to, devising a proactive legislative strategy, drafting legislative language, arranging and attending relevant hearings and meetings, collecting and analyzing relevant documents, responding to emerging and urgent issues, promoting Oakland policy initiatives at the federal level, promoting Oakland County projects, activities and accomplishments at the federal level, and keeping Oakland County engaged and informed of breaking issues. Activities will also relate to the executive branch including regulations, grant opportunities and relationship-building.
