Summary of Specifications:
Oakland Schools is seeking experienced law firms to provide a complete range of legal services. However, if a law firm is interested in providing specialized legal services, Oakland Schools may accept a proposal that does not include all legal services needed by the district. The period of contract shall be for three (3) years, beginning July 12, 2011 and continuing through June 30, 2014. The proposed agreement may be renewed for one (1) additional year, provided that forty-five (45) days before the contract expires, both parties agree to an extension under the same terms and conditions as exist under the contract.
