Sealed bids one (1) original and one (1) copy will be accepted via hand delivery or mail until 2:00 p.m., local time as established by the U.S. Atomic Digital clock (http://nist.time.gov), May 12, 2011, at Oakland Schools Front Reception Desk located at the address listed above, at which time the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Electronic submission of bids or bids received after the due date specified above will not be accepted. Bid documents will be available by accessing www.mitn.info website, Skanska USA Building, or ARC Dunn Blue Reprographics located at 1009 West Maple, Clawson, MI; Telephone: (248) 288-5600. A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 3, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. starting at Oakland Schools Southeast Technical Campus located at 5055 Delemere Street, Royal Oak, Michigan, 48073. Any changes and/or addenda to this solicitation will be posted at www.mitn.org. Bidders are responsible for checking this website prior to bid submission. Failure to acknowledge all addenda may result in rejection of your bid as being non-responsive. Bids must be accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or certified check made payable to the Owner in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. If the proposed bid amount is equal to or greater than Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), a performance and payment bond valued at the full amount of the contract within 10 business day after being notified of the award or prior to the commencement of work or whichever occurs first.
