Project Description:
The RFP consists of extending the existing viewing platform, installation of a new archway sign, and electrical improvements to the existing press box located at Anderson High School. The scope of work is detailed in the drawings and specs provided by TMP Architects dated January 31st, 2023 and in attachment A2. Contractors can commence construction as early as July 5th and the owner desires that the project is substantially completed by August 30th,2023. Scope of work includes providing labor, supervision, materials, permits (if required), tools and equipment necessary to perform the scope of work as described in this RFP along with TMP’s drawings dated January 31st, 2023 (attachment A.3) and project specifications (attachment A.4) stated above.
The Scope of Services are detailed and described in the Contract Documents included in Attachment A.3.
Bid Category 1 – General Trades:
Provide labor, materials, tools and equipment required to perform the viewing platform renovation scope as noted below, along with any other general demolition or construction notes as listed in TMP’s bid documents dated January 31st, 2023 along with any required permitting. Scope includes but is not limited to installation of wood blocking to support new expanded platform, single ply roofing and expansion of safety railing.
Bid Category 2 – Electrical:
Provide labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to perform the electrical scope including demolition and installation of new equipment as listed in TMP’s bid documents dated January 31st, 2023 along with any required permitting. Scope includes but is not limited to installation of lighting fixture to top and bottom of lettering of sign, providing lighting circuit from light fixture to existing panelboard via new lighting contactor, and mount driver(s) adjacent to existing panelboard.
Bid Category 3 – Signage:
Provide labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to perform the signage scope in regard to the installation of the signage package as listed in TMP’s bid documents dated January 31st, 2023 along with any required permitting. Scope includes but is not limited to installation of new plate steel laser cut letters and archway which is to be post mounted to the new extending viewing platform.
