Project Description: The RFP consists of electrical demolition and installation projects throughout the Southgate Community School district in preparation for IT & Technology improvements. The scope of work is detailed in the drawings and specs provided by TMP Architects dated April 24th, 2024 and in attachment A2. The Owner desires to commence construction on or before June 13th, 2024 and be substantially complete by August 5th,2024. Scope of work includes providing labor, supervision, materials, permits (if required), tools and equipment necessary to perform the electrical demolition and installation work as described in this RFP along with TMP’s drawings dated April 24th, 2024 (attachment A.3) and project specifications (attachment A.4) stated above.
The Scope of Services are detailed and described in the Contract Documents included in Attachment A.2.
Project Scope: The buildings that are included in this RFP are listed below. Provide labor, materials, tools and equipment required to perform the following demolition and construction scope as noted below, along with any other general electrical, demolition or construction notes as listed in TMP’s bid documents dated April 24th, 2024.
Demolition: Disconnect the existing ceiling mounted projector and remove all associated wiring back to source. Ceiling tile to be removed and replaced as required by the Architectural trades. Reuse existing circuit for serving new short throw projector. All general and demolition notes as noted in TMP’s bid documents are to be adhered by.
Construction: install new two compartment wireways as depicted in TMP’s bid documents. Connect 120V receptacle to existing circuit presently serving the removed ceiling projector unless otherwise noted in the drawings. Coordinate exact location with technology contractor prior to installation. All general electrical and construction notes as noted in TMP’s bid documents are to be adhered by.
