RFP-RFQ-14-1468 - Ceiling Tile Replacement

Summary of Specifications:
The specifications are for all labor, materials necessary for the removal of damaged, and the installation of new ceiling tile at the SMART locations on a requirement basis as requested by SMART maintenance personnel. SMART intends to award a three (3) year contract with two (2) option years for these services. The vendor is to replace damaged panels with new 2’ x 4’ x 9/16” non-acoustical square edge panels. All panels must be fire resistant Class A mineral fiber. Existing ceiling grid systems are to remain in place unless recommended by contractor and prior written authorization determined by SMART facilities technician Mike Walter. The new grid system will then be replaced with USG interiors Grid # 1359.
