SMART is soliciting bids for a contract for Electrical Repair Services. Services are to be performed at the following five (5) locations: Macomb Terminal; Hein Building; Oakland Terminal; Wayne Terminal; and Royal Oak Transit Center. SMART reserves the right to add or delete locations as necessary. These specifications are for all labor, materials, and parts necessary for Electrical repair (including those not directly specified) required for providing services and working end parts as specified herein at all five SMART locations listed. All parts shall be in good working order and new. Used, reconditioned, or obsolete parts will not be accepted under any circumstances. All prices quoted are net and shall reflect any available discount. All work performed shall be done on an “as needed” basis. Vendor will provide a quote for all jobs to SMART’s Facilities Project Manager for approval prior to performing the task. Emergency repairs will be designated by the Facilities Project Manager, or his designee. For an emergency, as deemed by SMART, response time for repairs requested shall be no later than three hours. If the vendor fails to respond within the time requirement stated above SMART may, at its sole discretion, have the work performed by another vendor, and charge all costs to the vendor.
