Summary of Specifications:
The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART), the public transportation agency which services the metropolitan Detroit suburbs, is accepting quotes for the provision and delivery of 1,000 sign holders to be installed at SMART bus stops. A secure, tamperproof design that would require a specialized tool to open the unit is desired. Snap lock designs are not desired, as they can create the possibility for pinching injuries to persons opening and closing the unit. Installation will be provided by SMART. Delivery of sign holders are to be made to SMART – Hein Building, 22700 E. Fifteen Mile Rd., Clinton Township, Michigan, 48035.
