22-3423 - Pre-Employment Personality Assessment Testing

In order to effectively and efficiently pre-screen an applicant pool of roughly 500-750 per year, SMART is seeking to identify and procure a comprehensive assessment tool to ensure that we identify ideal candidates with the potential to satisfactorily perform in the role of an Operator, including those with the leadership potential. The testing tool must assess basic knowledge, skills, abilities, applicant behaviors, the ability to avoid conflicts with passengers and the likelihood to adopt safe work habits along with candidates’ judgment when dealing with common stressors and situations experienced by transit operators.
