ITB-16-2104 - Purchase of Non Fixed Route Tires & Disposal

Summary of Specifications:
All tires shall meet MDOT specifications. Passenger vehicle tires shall be original equipment quality, steel belted all season radials. Tires shall be the identical make/model as bid and approved. If a temporary stock shortage occurs and the shortage is due to circumstances beyond the control of the vendor, substitutions may be made only upon approval of the Operations Director and the Procurement Manager, or their designee(s). When practical, such approval shall be in writing. In no case, however, shall the unit price for the substitute tire be higher than your bid price for the out of stock tire. Prices may be submitted on any of the following brand name tires: Goodyear, Bridgestone/Firestone, and Michelin. Pricing submitted on other brands will not be considered.
