RFP-17-2104 - Purchase of Non-Fixed Route Tires

Summary of Specifications:
The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART), the public transportation agency which services the metropolitan Detroit suburbs, is soliciting proposals for the purchase of tires for our Community Transit Coaches and support vehicles. Annual usage is estimated for bidding purposes, and is not guaranteed. SMART intends to award a three year contract with two additional one year options (for a maximum of five years.) The one year options may be exercised at SMART’s sole discretion. The contract start date will be November 1, 2016 or the date specified by the Purchasing Agent in the Notice to Proceed, whichever date is later.
