Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the seal coating and painting of the parking lot at Beverly Park will be received by the Village of Beverly Hills, 18500 W. 13 Mile Road, Beverly Hills, MI 48025 until 10 am local time on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read.
Bidders shall review and comply with the Specifications, which are incorporated by reference. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered.
The Bid will consist of the following principal items of work and appurtenances as specified herein and shown.
Description of work:
1. Seal coating of parking lot approximately 43,580 square feet
2. Painting parking lines and regulation lines on the adjoining basketball court
See specifications for instructions on applying seal coat.
The basketball court shall be painted with regulation markings in white. The parking lot line defining parking spaces shall be painted in green. Handicap parking shall be painted in the standard blue.
This work shall be completed no later than October 7, 2009.
Copies of the bid specifications and Bid Sheet may be secured on or after August 27, 2009 at the offices of the Village of Beverly Hills, 18500 W. 13 Mile Road, Beverly Hills, MI 48025. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect/Engineer and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid.
Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the provided Bid Sheet and signed by the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory insurance.
The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and waive irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least sixty (60) days.
