Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the repair and resurfacing of the tennis courts at Beverly Park in the Village of Beverly Hills will be received by the Village of Beverly Hills until 10 am local time on April 24, 2008 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. Bidders shall review and comply with the Instructions to Bidders, which are incorporated by reference, and carefully review all Contract Documents, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered. The Bid will consist of the following principal items of work and appurtenances as specified herein and shown. Description of work: 1. Repair all cracks in the surface with “Armor Crack Seal Repair System” or approved equal substitute. 2. Apply one coat of acrylic resurfacer or approved equal substitute. 3. Apply two coats of “Plexipave Acrylic Color Surfacing System” or approved equal substitute.
Copies of the bid specifications and Proposal Forms may be secured on or after March 31, 2008 at the offices of the Village of Beverly Hills, 18500 W. 13 Mile Road, Beverly Hills, MI 48025.
Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect/Engineer and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid. Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the Proposal Forms provided. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory insurance. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and waive irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least sixty (60) days.
