2018-430 - Bridge Street Seawall Restoration Project

BRIDGE STREET SEAWALL
GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK
 
 
General Scope of work to be as follows:
 

1. All work to be installed per drawings and specifications prepared by Conroy & Associates, Inc. which are included in this bid package.
2. All work to be installed per DEQ permit number WRP010526v.1, a copy of this permit is included in this bid package.
3. Contractor to install and maintain all upland and in-water erosion control as required.
4. All spoils, including existing collapsed concrete wall in lake, existing block retaining wall and existing ledge rock wall material to be removed from site
5. Existing brick pavers to be removed as required for seawall construction and stacked on pallet for future reinstallation by Home Owner.  Brick pavers to be stored off of Village of Lake Orion property at location to be determined.  Brick paver re-installation in not included in this bid.
6. Contractor responsible for removal of all excess construction materials and debris.
7. On-site storage of construction material is limited on this project.  Contractor is responsible to maintain road access and vehicle turn around space at all times.
8. Contractor is to verify location and depth of all utilities located within construction area.  Contractor is responsible for any damage and repair of existing utilities.
9. Home Owners will be required to remove any existing irrigation heads and valves located within the construction limits and cap off all irrigation lines.  Contractor to cap off all irrigation lines exposed during construction.  Irrigation re-installation is not part of this contract.
10. Contractor is to topsoil, seed, fertilize and mulch all disturbed areas.
11. All work to comply with DEQ permit requirements
12. All work to comply with Village of Lake Orion requirements.

1.       All limestone ledge rock wall work to be installed per drawings and specifications.
2.       Limestone ledge rock wall to be constructed of new rock, sized according to the details and
