The Lake Orion DDA is seeking to improve the exterior lighting levels throughout the Village by upgrading the current LED decorative post top lights to more efficient LED’s that use less energy and provide more light for its residents.
The chosen Contractor Shall:
Supply the Lake Orion DDA with and install EX39 Mogul base, strut, any electrical wiring/supplies required, and new LED screw in type bulbs (type specified below) for all decorative lamp posts in the Village of Lake Orion. There are approximately 150 posts. All posts need new bulbs but approximately 100 need the Mogul base installed as some post already have them (posts with acrylics covers such as along M24, Meeks Park, and Shadbolt have screw in bases already to be confirmed). There will be an addendum to this RFQ that lists an updated amount, however, it is recommended that the contractor supplying the bid go out and get their own counts so that they can also better understand the project requirements.
If the project installation is to take multiple days, then all work being done to an individual pole must be done before the work crew leaves for the day. This is to ensure all lights are functioning for Village residents at night during the project.
