7510 - 5-Year Recreation Plan Public Survey Development

To ensure the recreation needs of Washtenaw County residents are identified as part of the 5-Year Master Plan update process, WCPARC intends to conduct a recreation survey (Survey) of the residents of the county using means neither limited to nor necessarily inclusive of, direct mail, internet, and telephone.  The assessment of recreational needs is a critical step in the WCPARC system-wide planning process.  It serves as a barometer of the current and future demands for recreational facilities and services.  In addition, an inventory and updated 5-Year Master Plan of WCPARC facilities is required in order for WCPARC to apply for state and federal grant funding.
