7690 - Answering Service Elevator-Fire Alarm Monitoring

Fire Elevator and Security Monitoring Requirements:
 

• Provide 24 hour per day 7 day per week monitoring on fire, elevators and security alarms transmitted to the central station and provide appropriate dispatch response to the alarm.
• Perform 24 hour monitoring of all county emergency panels (currently fire and duress) and elevator phones.
• Provide all necessary components, hardware, and wiring to interface emergency panels to monitoring company.
• Provide all labor and equipment necessary to reprogram existing devices to new central station monitoring facility.
• Develop contact list and response procedure for each location / alarm system per owner’s (OIM) specifications. 

• Dispatch the alarm to the appropriate 9-1-1 dispatch center immediately on receipt of the level 1 alarm
• Maintain call down lists for each facility and perform call downs on receipt of the alarm.
• Provide dispatching special instructions as required.
• Provide contract administrator control of code management and contact lists.
• The monitoring facility must be UL listed and certified, and must meet all local, state and federal regulations
• Develop an inventory of test signal frequencies and response procedure for lapse in test signals and loss of communications.
• Develop security/pass code procedure for purpose of cancelling response to alarms per owner’s specifications.

• Provide open/close reports, number of people to contact, alarm reports, alarm verification and others as determined by the contract administrator.
• Maintain history/reports/logs for easy retrieval for a period of at least three (3) months.
• Archive history/reports/logs for a period of at least five (5) years.
• Provide web based/computer software access to history/reports/logs or provide event/incident detailed reports upon demand.

• 28 intrusion alarm systems with fire alarm devices integral to the system
• 7 panic alarm/duress systems
