7717 - Asphalt Paving Projects at Multiple Parks or Preserves

Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission (WCPARC) needs to completely replace or repair existing asphalt parking lots, asphalt cart paths and non-motorized vehicle trails, concrete sidewalks and curbing, and/or construct new infrastructure incorporating these elements at various Park or Preserve facilities. These projects will be implemented in a multi-year contract format.  Proejcts may be awarded individually or as multiple sites at WCPARC discretion.

Work will involve pulverization/milling of the existing asphalt materials by stockpiling for reuse and placement as base for new HMA installations, complete removal and disposal of existing asphalt materials, supplying/placement/compaction of MDOT 21AA limestone as needed, supplying and machine placement of specified HMA, parking space line striping and barrier-free space markings and signs, removal and installation of concrete flatwork, and restoration of all areas disturbed during execution of project work.
