8360 - CLINICAL SERVICES - JUVENILE DAY TREATMENT PROGRAM

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to execute a contract with a clinical provider for the purpose of providing treatment services to court-involved juveniles (aged fourteen to seventeen years old) and their families who meet the criteria for community-based treatment services. The anticipated number of active youth/families served in the program is projected to 10-15 youth. In 2022, the highest number served actively in the program was 8 youth.

Youth referred and selected for the Day Treatment program are identified as having need with respect to emotional or behavior issues at home, in school, or in the community and it’s been determined that they would benefit from a specialized community-based treatment intervention a Day Treatment Program can provide. The program addresses specific behavior health concerns for youth and their families to: (1) stabilize and strengthen family functioning (2) prevent further involvement in the juvenile justice system (3) prevent/reduce use of secure detention and out-of-home placement (4) decrease behavior health issues and provide treatment to reduce trauma.
