The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain bids from qualified CONTRACTORS to provide the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a new, 3,735 foot long segment of non-motorized pathway, known as the Border-to-Border Trail (B2B), within Delhi Metropark in Scio Township. This project will be administered by the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission (WCPARC) in cooperation with the Huron-Clinton Metroparks. The trail will be 10-16 feet wide and work includes installation of HMA, concrete, aggregates, pavement marking, signs, earthwork, drainage structures, site restoration, and related work.
All requirements and specifications as described in the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) “2012 Standard Specifications for Construction” and “MDOT Road and Bridge Standard Plans”, or as adopted by the Michigan Department of Transportation, shall be adhered to unless otherwise stated in the proposal.
Bidders must complete the Experience and Qualifications section of this RFP. Based on the response to this RFP, including, experience, ability, financial standing, and bid prices submitted, the County will select a CONTRACTOR that it considers will best provide the required services.
