The intent of this document is to provide interested vendors with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by Washtenaw County for Electrical Services for Various County Buildings on an as needed basis. The scope of services is required to assist Washtenaw County with renovations, remodels, and maintenance of existing facilities. It will also include the following: power, distribution, lighting, conduit, panels, equipment connections, parking lot lights, exterior lights, fire alarms, emergency & back up power, phone wiring, data wiring, audio visual wiring, security device wiring, fiber wiring, communications, structured voice grade copper distribution, multi-mode fiber, single mode fiber (outside plant & inside distribution), Category 5e and higher data structured cabling distribution, and low voltage structured wiring design to support voice and data communications in all existing County owned and leased buildings. All new installations shall be installed in accordance with the latest adopted NEC.
Specifications on materials, if necessary, will be provided on a project by project basis by the County. This bid will involve the selection of vendors to fill multiple positions available in the County vendor pool for electrical and low voltage structured wiring services and maintenance. Bid price will be on an hourly basis. The hourly price, and all work, will be based on the requirements detailed in this proposal.
