RFP-6270 - Employment Service Staffing

Summary of Specifications:
Washtenaw County Purchasing along with Employment Training and Community Services is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) that addresses the staffing needs relating to providing employment services as part of the “Michigan Works” Workforce Development System within Washtenaw County. 

The System contains the full range of local Workforce Development related services including: 

• Outreach/Recruitment • Customer Intake and Program Eligibility • Case/Account Management • Assessments/Service Strategies • Basic Computer Data Processing • Job Development/Matching/Placement • Job Retention/Post Termination Services • "Michigan Works Service " System Facilitation • Customer Satisfaction 

The Washtenaw County Workforce Development Board’s Employment Services will provide employment services to Washtenaw County employers and job seekers. 

The period of performance for this Workforce Development Staffing requirement shall be from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007. The proposal will be evaluated and considered for overall proposed cost and content. Employment Service activities will be funded through the Wagner-Peyser Act and provided through the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth. This bid can be extended for up to two more years through June 30, 2009.
