7384 - Site Improvements - 2017 at Sharon Mills County Park

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain bids from qualified
CONTRACTORS to provide the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the
elements of the project. Sharon Mills County Park is located at 5701 Sharon Hollow Road
approximately 2.25 miles north of the Austin Rd./Sharon Hollow intersection and 3.5 miles
southwest of the M-52/Pleasant Lake intersection, in Manchester, Michigan.
The work will include elements in the public road right of way (including a pedestrian crosswalk),
demolition/removal of existing concrete flatwork and inlaid brick pavers, site grading, soil
removal, installation of fieldstone boulders and cobblestone, stormwater piping, new limestone
shoreline surface, installation of concrete flatwork and reuse of brick pavers, landscaping, native
plant installations, and turf restoration.
Bidders must complete the Experience and Qualifications section of this RFP. Unit Prices are
requested for construction elements. Based on the response to this RFP, including a schedule
for completion of work, experience, ability, financial standing and bid prices submitted, the
County will select a CONTRACTOR to provide the required services.
