RFP-6720 - Summer Food Service Program Caterer

Summary of Specifications:
Background: The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a summer-long program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Michigan Department of Education. In Washtenaw County’s program, the period of operation runs from June through August. Eligible children under the age of 18 receive up to two meals per day at a variety of sites throughout Ypsilanti, MI. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and snack and must follow nutritional requirements set by SFSP. 

Purpose of Proposal: In order to ensure high quality and nutritionally sound meals for children in Ypsilanti, MI, SFAs are invited to participate in this RFP. RFP responses will be used to identify the contractor that will prepare and deliver meals for the Washtenaw County SFSP for summer 2013.
