Description

The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein for the purpose of contracting to construct pavement improvements including concrete and hot mix asphalt (HMA) pavement repairs along approximately 4 miles of roadways and replacement of an existing HMA entrance to Checkpoint 1 with new concrete pavement at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW).
This RFB contains three (3) contract opportunities (herein referred to as packages). A separate response must be submitted for each package for which the Bidder desires to be considered.
The three packages are:
Package A – DTW Miscellaneous Concrete Roadway Rehabilitation
Package B – Checkpoint 1 Pavement Reconstruction
Package C – Old Goddard Road Rehabilitation
(The Contracts resulting from this solicitation are subject to Airport Authority Prevailing Wages Requirements.)

PARKING - Parking is available in the Big Blue Deck Parking Structure. From the parking deck, use the Pedestrian Bridge on the 4th Level to access the North Terminal Ticket Lobby. From the Ticket Lobby, the Wayne County Airport Authority Offices (in the Michael Berry Building) are located at the northern most wall of the North Terminal (to the right). Bring your parking ticket stub in with you to be validated.
