Summary of Specifications:
The Airport Authority plans to issue the Request for Bids (RFB) Solicitation No. 160655 On-Call Roadway and Surface Parking Lot Repair and Rehabilitation at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport on or about June 8, 2016.
DESCRIPTION: The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Bids for On-Call Landside Roadway and Surface Parking Lot Repair and Rehabilitation (Project) at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and Willow Run Airport (YIP). This RFB includes multiple projects over a three (3) year period. The work associated with these project(s) includes the removal and installation of approximately 247,000 square yards of pavement, including concrete, asphalt, aggregate base, shoulders, curb & gutter, pavement markings, drainage, and utility work, including any ancillary electrical, as required. (The Contract resulting from this solicitation is subject to Airport Authority Prevailing Wages Requirements.)
