Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is requesting quotes for the purchase of UPM/CP-7 MDOT Cold Patch to be picked up on an as-needed basis for a term of three (3) years. The Airport Authority uses approximately 150 tons of UPM/CP-7 MDOT Cold Patch per year. Cold patch is to be picked up in Airport Authority-owned single and tandem axel dump trucks, however, the Successful Respondent is required to load product into the Airport Authority’s equipment between the hours of 7:00 AM through 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Successful Respondent’s pickup location must be located within 20 miles of 31399 East Service Drive, Detroit, MI 48242, however, any location over 10 miles from the address listed shall have a 3% distance factor added in to the quote total solely for the purpose of evaluating responses. This factor is being used to allow the Airport Authority to factor in additional labor costs associated with traveling the additional distance for product pickup.
