The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses for the Construct Taxiway A – Phase 4 (Project) at Willow Run Airport (YIP). This project includes work associated with construction of approximately 30,000 square yards of new taxiway Portland cement concrete pavement and 22,000 square yards of taxiway asphalt shoulder pavement with associated electrical, installation of approximately 4,600 lineal feet of storm sewer, earthwork, signs, and utility work in accordance with the drawings, specifications and other Contract Documents. It is anticipated that this Project will start construction in the spring of 2025, and be completed during the construction season of 2025, and be partially funded through the federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP). (The Contract resulting from this solicitation is subject to Davis-Bacon and Related Acts Wage Requirements.)
