The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, contractors, construction managers, and other businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein for the removal and replacement roofing systems Buildings 403, 455, 509, 737 & 821 at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (Airport Authority). The scope of work includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of roof membranes, insulation, copings, cants, flashings, curbs, etc. as shown in the Attachment C, construction drawings and specifications. The Contract resulting from this solicitation is subject to Airport Authority Prevailing Wages Requirements.

Important Notices: Multiple construction projects are in progress at Detroit Metro Airport, so plan to arrive early. Additional information can be found via www.metroairport.com.
The Michael Berry Administration Building (11050 Rogell Drive, Building #602, Detroit, MI 48242) attached to the North Terminal. The only public entrance is located inside of the North Terminal, at the north end of the Ticket Lobby Level (Departures Level).
The closest parking available is at the Big Blue Deck Parking Structure (walkway is on the 4th level). Curbside parking is no longer an option. Violators may be ticketed and towed.
