The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is requesting quotes for the purchase of electrical safety supplies and clothing, and to perform testing on Airport Authority supplies. The Airport Authority needs includes electrical insulating gloves, arc flash gear, hot sticks, and other related items. The Airport Authority needs a Contractor that can immediately stock or supply requested PPE items on an as-needed basis. The Airport Authority will require testing on items to be ordered as needed for up to a five (5) year term. The contract term will be for three (3) years with two (2) one-year renewal options, exercisable by the Airport Authority CEO. Delivery is required no later than twenty-one (21) calendar days after ordered. The Airport Authority may pick up the order or ask for delivery depending on the order. Advanced notice with Airport Authority approval is required for items that cannot meet the 21-day requirement with a new delivery guarantee time frame. All deliveries shall be FOB Destination. To facilitate emergency needs, the successful Respondent's (Contractor's) facility must be located within a fifty (50) mile radius of Detroit Metro Airport (32725 W. Service Dr., Detroit, MI 48242) as determined by MapQuest, Google Maps, etc. The facility must be a business with a sales counter and have electrical supplies in stock.
