Summary of Specifications:
1) INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Proposals for Janitorial Services (Non-Terminal Spaces) at the Wayne County Airport Authority.
2) GENERAL INFORMATION: Through this RFP Janitorial Services will be provided to various Airport Authority buildings and offices. This will include, but is not limited to, Airport Authority Public Safety Facilities, Smith Building, McNamara Ground Transportation Center, the Maintenance Complex, etc. It is anticipated that some areas will be added to or removed from the contract as necessary throughout the contract term due to changes that may take place at the Airport. It will include approximately 300,000 square feet of interior space and approximately 60,000 square feet of exterior space (including snow removal services).
The Airport Authority has not established a minimum staffing level for this contract. Each Proposer is responsible for establishing their own staffing levels for this agreement. Employees assigned to perform these services shall be exclusively assigned to this location, and may not perform janitorial services work at any other location serviced by the Contractor.
The Contractor shall be responsible to provide all equipment necessary to perform services defined under this contract including, but not limited to, lifts, booms, vacuums, extractors, etc.
