Summary of Specifications:
1) INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Bids (RFB), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Bids to provide O.E.M. Ford parts and repair services for the Airport Authority. It is anticipated that the contract resulting from this RFB will be primarily used for the purchase of parts; however, the successful Bidder (Contractor) shall provide Ford O.E.M. certified repair services on an as needed basis. 2) GENERAL INFORMATION: The Airport Authority maintains a fleet of approximately 128 Ford sedans, trucks and vans at Detroit Metro Airport. The fleet is used by multiple departments of the Airport Authority. Airport Authority staff members use O.E.M. parts to maintain these vehicles and ensure all vehicle warranties are honored.
