RFB-140043 - RUNWAY 4R NAVAIDS AND VISUAL SCREEN

Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Airport Authority (“Airport Authority”) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses for the Runway 4R NAVAIDS and Visual Screen (“Project”) at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (“DTW”). This project includes work associated with the relocation of certain Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) navigational aids (NAVAIDs) associated with Runway 4R and the installation of a visual screen in accordance with the drawings, specifications and other Contract Documents. 

SPECIAL NOTE: This RFB is similar to the RFB Control No. 140011 for Runway 4R Navaids and Visual Screen issued by the Wayne County Airport Authority on October 21, 2013 in which all bids were rejected by the Airport Authority in January 2014. Prospective Bidders are advised that this RFB, drawings and specifications incorporate clarifications and modifications made during the bid process of RFB 140011.
