RFB- 150866 - Relocation and Reinstallation of a 500 KVA Diesel Generator

Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from contractors and other businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein for the construction of the relocation and re-installation of an existing 500 KVA Diesel Generator System at Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport (DTW). This project will include: review of existing conditions, inventory of all impacted equipment; planning and coordination of relocation requirements including coordination of controls; selection, procurement and installation of generator enclosure and fuel tank at new location; and, disconnection, relocation, installation, commissioning and turnover of the generator at new location. The existing generator is located in an enclosure between the former L.C. Smith Terminal and North Terminal at DTW. The new location for the generator is adjacent to an existing occupied hangar building (Building #530), located on the East Service Drive at DTW.
