SFQ-170013 - SS1H Tack Asphalt Binder

Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is requesting quotes for the purchase of SS1H Tack Asphalt Binder (Tack) to be picked up on an as-needed basis for a one (1) year term. The WCAA Maintenance department uses approximately 2,500 gallons of Tack each year. The Tack is picked up in bulk by WCAA personnel in a trailer mounted application vehicle. 75-100 gallons is picked up at a time, 1-2 times a week between the hours of 7am-4pm. The successful respondent (Contractor) must have an employee on site to dispense the tack into our application trailer. To facilitate emergency needs, the Contractor's facility must be located within ten (10) miles of Detroit Metro Airport.
