Summary of Specifications:
INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Proposals to provide on-call/as-needed strategic communications support services for the Wayne County Airport Authority and its Board.
GENERAL INFORMATION: The support services which may encompass: public information, communications, and marketing work must successfully target and engage various audiences including but not limited to: airport customers, tenants, tangential community business and interest groups, airport neighbors and employees, as well as new media, business leaders, ad buyers, meeting planners, prospective airlines, developers, regulatory agencies and industry associates.
The work may include adversity management/crisis communication strategy, radio, print or broadcast advertising, story placement in local, national and trade publications, media briefs, news conferences, promotion material, direct mail, electronic media and such other means as determined appropriate and cost-effective. (All material developed or prepared in connection with this project including, but not limited to, brochure, pamphlets, web site and audio-visual presentation, will be the sole property of WCAA).
Proposers may be a business or team of businesses (Team) responding as a joint-venture that, as a whole, meets or exceeds the minimum qualifications.
The Airport Authority anticipates awarding one or more contracts to firms that meet the qualifications and specialized needs of the Authority. The Airport Authority will assign tasks on a project-by-project basis, as needed throughout the term of the agreement(s)
