Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is requesting quotes for the purchase of Unitex SmartBond Epoxy (or Equal) to be delivered on an as-needed basis for a 3-year term. The WCAA Maintenance Department uses approximately 500 gallons of Epoxy each year. Epoxy specs: Product must conform to ASTM-C-881-90 Type III, Classes B & C, Grade 1 Epoxy Bonding Agent. Must be 2 part with a 1:1 mixing ratio. The product must be delivered in 2-250 gallon pallet mounted tote. One tote is to be part ‘A’ and the other tote shall be part ‘B’ for a total of 500 gallons of finished product. Epoxy shall be sufficient for bonding 3/8”- #8 sized clean limestone to cured concrete.
