RFB-150730 - Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Maintenance

Summary of Specifications:
INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Bids (RFB), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Bids for variable frequency drive (VFD) preventative and corrective maintenance, including replacement as required and installation of new drives, at the Wayne County Airport Authority. GENERAL INFORMATION: Variable Frequency Drives are utilized for pumps and fans at the North Power Plant and various other sites throughout Detroit Metro Airport. Although there are currently no VFDs installed at Willow Run Airport, this contract will cover their maintenance when and if any are installed there. This contract will also provide for capital replacement of defective or end-of-life existing drives and specification and installation of new drives as determined by the Airport Authority.
